The earth moving division of Balmana comprises front-end loaders, water carts, dozers, excavators and low loaders. Our main work in this area focuses on clearing roadworks, building and repairing dams, site restoration, extraction of raw materials and contract work with customers.

All employees within our earthmoving division have Work Cover Permits in order to ensure the best quality of service is delivered to our customers. They are also accredited OH&S green card holders ensuring safe working practices.

Balmana have an extensive amount of experience in both mining and restoration work. No job is too big or too small.

All of our equipment can be easily and efficiently transported to a required site through the use of our float service.

The following items are available for use with our earthmoving equipment :-

Buckets - we have a wide range of buckets for our excavators to meet your specific requirements.

Hammers - Balmana have available for hire, 2 heavy duty hammers, designed to fit a 30 tonne excavator. Hammers are ideal for breaking large rocks or concrete.

Rippers - can be attached to any of our excavators and are ideal for breaking hard ground, especially in areas where there is heavy shale or loose rocks.
